Kate studied at Edinburgh College of Art between 1980 and 1984 and set up her studio in London in 1986. She has been involved in a wide range of art and design projects working for exhibitions, installations and commissions, and with architects and manufacturers. Projects with architects Barbara Weiss, Michael Hopkins, Studio fiftyfour, Avanti, David Morley, BDP, Allies and Morrison and Wilkinson Eyre and designers including Christopher Farr, Sir Paul Smith, Maureen Doherty, Jim Thompson and Donna Karan
