"Wilkinson Eyre commissioned Kate Blee to do a wall, and rarely do architects and artists working together blend as seamlessly as this. Kate, more commonly known for her textile work, has chosen ceramic tiles for this installation. Pure and subtle the wall does not scream 'public art'; rather it sits quietly in the cafe, calm and relaxing with the handmade patina of an ancient city wall. A textural plane in the room, it has a confident beauty about it, creating a mood of its own."
