"Artist Kate Blee tells John what it felt like to see her textile work 'Debate' on the wall of the Portcullis House commitee room during Rupert Murdoch's appearance before the Culture and Media select committee."

Kate studied at Edinburgh College of Art between 1980 and 1984 and set up her studio in London in 1986. She has been involved in a wide range of art and design projects working for exhibitions, installations and commissions, and with architects and manufacturers. Projects with architects  Sir Michael Hopkins, Studio 54 architecture, Avanti architects, Allies and Morrison and Wilkinson Eyre and designers including Christopher Farr, Sir Paul Smith, Jim Thompson and Donna Karan  

Work in Public Collections: Victoria and Albert Museum The Craft Council, The Contemporary Arts Society. 

Teaching: Visiting lecturer at the Royal College of Art, London.
